One More Clove
Disclaimer: this is not a blog about garlic. One More Clove was born from the philosophy that recipes are merely guidelines and can be adapted to your personal tastes and lifestyle preferences.
Personally I always add one more clove of garlic to any recipe that I am making. It is automatic for me and after talking to friends and family, I realized I am not alone! The name One More Clove popped into my head while I was backpacking and it just stuck.
The recipes you will find here are adaptable to multiple lifestyles (I don’t like the word “diet”) including but not limited to Paleo, Keto, Vegetarian, Vegan, Whole30, and most importantly Gluten Free. In fact: every recipe will be gluten free due to a personal wheat allergy, but don’t worry, you won’t miss the gluten.
I hope that I can inspire more eating of home cooked, nutritionally dense foods that will rival any restaurant. And the best part: your order will always be right because you made it exactly how you want.
Hi, I’m Kirby Jeanne

When I was three years old I professed to my family that I was going to be a chef when I grew up. I stuck to my guns and enrolled in culinary school straight out of high school. I soon began an extensive career as a pastry chef and business owner.
While I never cooked savory food professionally, I cooked every meal at home and hosted countless gatherings featuring my culinary chops. I have since retired from the restaurant and catering world, but am looking forward to sharing recipes from my personal arsenal. Each and every recipe is one that I have perfected over the years and more than likely shared with loved ones.
Growing up it seemed that everyone in the house had a different diet. My mom did her best to accommodate us all and I find myself doing that for my own family and friends. These days people are adopting different eating styles (including myself) and I have adapted many of my recipes to be flexible enough to satisfy everyone. Food is my love language and I am so excited to spread the love. Welcome to my kitchen.
My Mission
My greatest accomplishment would be to inspire more people to get into the kitchen. I hope to instill a confidence to change recipes to suit your personal tastes and preferences. If you don’t like onions, reduce or cut them out entirely! Cooking should be a fun experience and I’d love nothing more than to share my joy with you.
I’d also love to inspire healthier food choices in each and every one of you. It’s not always easy to make the right choice, especially with as much conflicting information there is out in the world. I know I have tried just about every food fad or diet there is. What I took from those experiences is that there is not a one size fits all program. I have lifted different ideas from all these diets and created my food plan that works for my lifestyle.
The one thing that all of these philosophies had in common was the adoption of whole and nutritionally dense foods. This is something I highly encourage bringing more of into your life. Lastly, I am not an expert on nutrition. I am here to share my personal experiences with different foods and lifestyles. If you have any health concerns, I urge you to seek professional help.
